New A Grade Netball Coaches

The RCFNC has appointed Libby Denouden and Kate Omeara as joint A Grade Netball coaches for the 2023 Season.

Club President, Addy Walton, said the Club is proud to put these high calibre and talented individuals in place for the coming season. ”Making this appointment from within our own ranks, in two current players who are fully engaged in our Club culture is very pleasing for us. Both Libby and Kate have fully embraced all our great Club offers, they are passionate about the Hoppers, proud to wear the green and white, and highly respected within the broader netball group and beyond. This makes them perfectly poised to hit the ground running and commence our netball attack on season 2023”

Kate hails from the notoriously strong netball breeding ground in Warrnambool. In her first two seasons with the Hoppers she has become a two-time Central Highlands league Best and Fairest – a feat that truly speaks for itself. Her supreme netball talent coupled with her ability and desire to build others around her is a first class combination.

Libby Denouden is a well-known and much respected netball identity within the Central Highlands region. A highly experienced player with a strong VNL background playing for Ballarat.  Libby is an enviable asset for the Hoppers. Her knowledge and netball smarts makes her incredibly well placed to have a huge impact on the playing group.

This exciting coaching duo will look to recruit (with work in this area already started) to bolster the playing group. They have both noted the privilege of working with the current crop of loyal and talented Hopper netballers.
